Due to the CPSIA law - Hope Chest Legacy will be closed indefinately.
We are unable to afford the cost of testing for our books and kits.
Our e-books, e-lessons and e-patterns are still available as pdf downloads. I am working with someone to turn the Grandmother books and the additional HCL books into ebooks, but it may take several months before we can offer them. Our newsletter has stopped and our email is rarely checked. If you have an urgent matter regarding a download you have purchased, please email me at ERCCSWIL@aol.com and I will be happy to help.
I do have new e-patterns and e-lessons to add to the website and will do so as time permits. I will also begin blogging again soon with happenings around our home and projects we have been working on. Our family has been through an intense 8 months and we are emerging on the other side. As time permits I will begin to add to the website.
Our printed books are no longer available through our website and are being shipped to Hands & Hearts, Books on the Path and MarmeeDear who will be offering them until they are completely sold out. These are reliable and trustworthy companies, as well as dear friends of mine that I can highly recommend.
Thank you for your continuing support and prayers, and may the Lord bless you in these trying times...

Welcome to Hope Chest Legacy
Hope Chest Legacy started when Rebekah Wilson wrote: The Hope Chest: A Legacy of Love in September, 2000. Since that time, Hope Chest Legacy has grown and several new books have been written, as well as sewing kits being created with both mothers and daughters in mind.
In the past several years we have also offered many items from other sources. However, we have felt called to go back to why we started HCL and offer only what we have created ourselves. There are varied reasons for this - we have family cares that require more of my time, I have enrolled in online courses to earn a BS through a Christian university, my oldest is leaving to start pre-med in January, I have two autistic boys who are now reaching pre-teen and teen years and are becoming quite a handful, The Homemaker's Mentor has taken off and I am really enjoying writing lessons for HMM and working with Martha Greene, and I have wanted to reorganize Hope Chest Legacy, create many new kits I haven't had time to work on and to also write new books - my favorite of all!
If you are a California Homeschooler, we also own and operate Country Christian School, an ISP for homeschooler in California. We have been working with homeschooling families through CCS since 1996.
I just want thank you for stopping by our website
and leave you with one of my favorite Bible verses... "I delight to do Thy will, O my God, Thy law is within my heart.' Psalm 40:8
